Community Donations
The Go-Ahead Group makes various donations to charities throughout the year and is committed to making a positive impact on the local community through financial support.
Our operating companies also provide 'support in kind', including providing free travel to charities.
We maintain strong links with our local communities through our charitable commitments, support for staff fundraising and endorsement of social campaigns, and we believe that this makes an important contribution to the health of these communities.
An example of our in-kind support is Go North East's 'Buses in the Community' scheme which offers support to many local charity and community groups. The scheme provides transport for day trips and staff time to assist with various projects, as well as raffle prizes for fund-raising initiatives.
