STATEMENT REGARDING THE TFL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE LONDON RAIL CONCESSION

Following today's announcement by Transport for London of the candidates shortlisted to bid for the London Rail Concession, Govia, The Go-Ahead Group's 65% owned subsidiary, is delighted to have been given the opportunity to bid for this important concession. As operator of Southern and Southeastern, it is already well-qualified to make a real difference to the network and looks forward to submitting its bid.

Go-Ahead is a key operator of commuter services in London and the South East. Through Govia, it is the rail franchise holder for Southern and Southeastern. Bus services include London Central and General, companies in North East England, West Midlands, Oxford, Brighton, Poole, Bournemouth, Southampton, Isle of Wight and routes in the Gatwick Airport and Crawley conurbation.
