Wilts & Dorset became part of the Go-Ahead Group in 2003.

more bus

more bus operates quality bus services across Bournemouth, Poole and the surrounding area with a fleet of over 160 vehicles. The company continues to invest in its fleet with the addition of 36 new vehicles operating on the successful m1 and m2 bus services linking the conurbation. Fitted with free customer wifi with spacious and modern interiors these buses provide a real alternative for the travelling public.  Working in close partnership with the local authority ‘more’ has successfully helped improve the quality of bus travel. The Company continues to develop and evolve, and with the help of our most important asset – our staff – we are pleased to offer a reliable, comfortable and friendly bus service that gives good value for money. Our success can be measured by the increasing numbers of people who are choosing to travel on our buses. We have a proud tradition, but are at the cutting edge of progress.

Salisbury Reds

Salisbury Reds buses were first introduced in 2008 and more recently the popular cross-county X3, X5, X7 and Activ8 routes have been revamped, with increasing numbers of customers finding them a simple, convenient way to travel for work, shopping and leisure.  The Reds network continues to be popular choice for local residents and like many others have embraced the new technology of the key smartcard choosing to buy their bus travel in advance online. In this historic tourist area, Salisbury Reds works in close partnership with the local councils to ensure our environmental impact is minimised to help preserve the historic medieval town. Keeping in touch with our customers is vital for our business and Salisbury Reds takes pride in providing quality information to our customers to ensure they can make well informed travel decisions. Training is also vital for our business and we have a well informed and motivated workforce which helps to grow customers across the network of services.
