Go-Ahead’s investment in apprenticeships has been recognised by The Sunday Times in their Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list. The Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2025 celebrates the UK’s outstanding apprenticeship employers – recognising their commitment to creating new apprenticeships, the diversity of their apprentices, and the number of apprentices who successfully complete their apprenticeships. The prestigious annual rankings are compiled by High Fliers Research for The Sunday Times.

The recognition celebrates our on-going commitment to creating career opportunities for the next generation of transport professionals – and to build a workforce that truly reflects the communities we serve.

There are currently over 1,400 apprentices at Go-Ahead across rail and bus. The apprenticeship programmes cover customer services, engineering, management, and driving qualifications.

Britain’s Most Admired Companies Awards

Go-Ahead Group is named the UK’s leading transport company in Britain’s Most Admired Companies study, securing this prestigious recognition for the second consecutive year.

Announced in March 2023, Go-Ahead’s operating company Go North West, ranked 8th overall out of 259 leading British businesses across 28 sectors.
