GTS

In 2025, GTS was formed to operate the Elizabeth line on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) and is a joint venture between the Go-Ahead Group, Tokyo Metro, and Sumitomo Corporation. Running from Reading and Heathrow Airport in the west to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east, the Elizabeth line runs right through the heart of London. With one in eight journeys on TfL’s rail network now made on the Elizabeth line, it has quickly become the UK’s single busiest railway service.

Connecting Stockholm

Connecting Stockholm is a joint venture between Go-Ahead Group and ComfortDelGro, that has operated the Stockholm Metro (Tunnelbana) since 2025. Comprising of the Green, Red, and Blue, that together form seven different routes, the Tunnelbana is the only metro line in Sweden. It has over 100 stations, almost half of which are underground, and is known globally as the “world’s longest art gallery”, with over 90 of the 100 stations feature stunning, site-specific art created by more than 150 artists.

Go-Ahead Nordic

Beginning operation in 2019 as a completely new player in the Norwegian market, Go-Ahead Nordic operates services on the Sørlandsbanen, Arendalsbanen and Jærbanen. Running trains from the capital city of Oslo in the east, to the oil city of Stavanger in the west. In between trains travel through the beautiful Norwegian south coast, with southern gems and beautiful nature experiences greeting passengers as they pass through.

Previous Experience: Govia Thameslink Railway

Pre-nationalisation in May 2026, Go-Ahead, through our Govia joint venture with Keolis, ran one of the UK’s largest railway operators, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR), for over two decades. GTR carries roughly one in five of every rail journey made in Britain, through London and much of the South East, including the Thameslink, Southern, Great Northern, and Gatwick Express routes.
